Sony A7III or Nikon D800

I am looking for a suggestion to which camera should i go for. As i mostly shoot fashion and editorial. So let me know with your reviews which one should i buy and which lens would be great and supportive with the bodies.

I have the a7iii and I love it. The specs are out of this world for the price, which has probably been said a million times. Good battery life, 10 fps continuous shooting, and super good in low light conditions. It also is incredible at autofocus. I do a lot of film and have previously manually focused, but there's no need with this camera it's just a beast. This translates well to photography too. Sony's lens selection is also amazing which is cool, but I suppose there are adapters for everything these days.

The d800 is a lot less expensive though, which is a perk depending on your situation.

Thanks. So i think i should go with the sony this time getting a 85mm lens and sony a7iii body would get my shoots covered :)..

Yes! If you get any of their 85mm lenses you will be golden.

Yup for now and what budget I have I am going with Sony a7iii and its 85mm f1.8 Sony lens.

Not really. I was just asking for opinions coz i was at first was going for sony a7iii within that budget frame.

Look at the specs, see if the specs fit your needs and your budget, then act accordingly.

If you ask, you will get 10,000 different opinions based on 10,000 other people's needs, experience and pet foibles.

They are all irrelevant as it's only your needs, your opinion and your budget that matter.

Ibaad Naqvi, Marty Frascone, and Disha Parchani agree that an 85 mm lens on a full-frame camera is suitable for shooting fashion photography and editorial photography. Marvellous.

We've been using Sony cameras for the past 3 years here at Crown Asia and I can say that our video output has been of great quality. You can really see why a lot of people are using Sony cameras. They look much much better than our other cameras. It makes our videos look more professional and more "premium".
