A return to film?

Hey, I introduce myself as Chris, an avid seeker of musical fidelity. Where my budget allows me I seek out what sounds good to me, and what sounds good to me usually comprises of an analogue signal (record deck) and an analogue amplifier. My question is, how popular is analogue these days in photography, when everything seems to be going digitals way?

A side question could be. Does anyone use film still?

I don't use film but I think a fair number of people do. DPreview even has film fridays, where they make one post every Friday on film. I think Spencer even uses a large format film camera so you should check out his posts.
