Just starting, needing advice

I took this picture today and I was wondering what would be the ideal size to print this picture.

I just started last week with photography, it was gift from my brother. and this is the best shot I think I got in a weeks practice. Any I would like to have a print of this photo. But what size would be best.

Welcome to a great hobby. Size depends of the use you will make of the print, could be hoarding or on a bedside cabinet. What I would say is can you crop the shot to exclude the black thing on the right hand side and reduce to over exposure on the upper left. This would make for a more compelling portrait.

Thanks, I dont know how to reduce overexposure, the only software I have is what came with the camera.
